In partnership with the NHS, we're hosting a Breast Screening & Breast Awareness Health Talk designed to empower women with life-saving knowledge and encourage open, honest conversations about health.
This session will offer:
🩺 Clear information on the NHS Breast Screening Programme
🔍 Guidance on checking yourself and recognising changes
📆 Who should get screened, when, and how to access services
💬 A safe space to ask questions and learn without judgment
Whether you've already had a screening, are unsure if you're eligible, or simply want to be more confident about your health — this event is for you.

Why is this event so important for the community?
Creating accessible, informative events like this one has a powerful impact on the individuals in our community. Many women may not feel comfortable discussing breast health or might be unaware of the resources available to them. Hosting this session allows us to break down barriers, offer reassurance, and build confidence. By educating women about breast awareness and screening, we’re not just providing essential information—we’re creating a ripple effect of empowerment. Women who feel supported and informed are more likely to take action, seek screenings, and share their knowledge with others, leading to a healthier, more proactive community overall.
